ITINERARY

Day 1 Delhi

Transfer from Delhi Airport to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. D

Day 2 Delhi

Enjoy a full-day tour of Delhi. Tour highlights include one of Asia’s largest mosques, Jama Masjid; the Red Fort, India Gate, Parliament House, Humayun’s Tomb and the Qutub Minar tower. BLD

Day 3 Delhi – Agra

In the morning, you’ll be driven to Agra. Spend the afternoon at leisure before an evening visit to Mehtab Bagh (Moonlight Garden). Located across the Yamuna River from the Taj Mahal, Mehtab Bagh is an ideal viewing location. BLD

Day 4 Agra

Today you’ll visit the Taj Mahal, highlight of your city tour. Constructed from beautiful white marble, the splendid Taj Mahal is the world’s most enduring monument to love, built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife. Also visit Agra Fort where Shah Jahan spent the last years of his life after being imprisoned by his son. Spend the afternoon at your leisure. BLD

Day 5 Agra – Jaipur

Drive to Jaipur for a two-night stay. Along the way you will visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, built by Emperor Akbar in 1569. Lunch at a local restaurant before a visit to the ancient Chand Baori Stepwell in the village of Abhaneri. Consisting of 3500 steps over 13 stories and extends 30m into the ground making it one of the largest and deepest stepwells in India. BLD

Day 6 Jaipur

Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Rajasthan’s historic capital. Visit the fabulous Amber Fort to experience its latticed galleries, the silver door on the Kali Temple, and the mosaic ceiling in the Hall of Victory. Continue with a visit to the stunning City Palace, the pink-sandstone Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) and the 18th-century Jantar Mantar observatory. BLD

Day 7 Jaipur – Delhi

In the morning you will head back to Delhi and check in to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure before visiting the Kingdom of Dreams. Located at the apex of the ‘Golden Triangle’ this performing arts theatre, blends India’s art, culture, heritage, craft and cuisine. BLD

Day 8 Delhi

The tour ends with a late-afternoon transfer to a Delhi hotel or airport. B
