Dubai Stopovers

Make your stopover a holiday within a holiday

"You are doing Dubai an injustice if you stay less than 3 nights"

- Nick Good, Tempo Product Manager for Dubai

Most people don't think much about stopovers when flying long haul. Airlines often have to stop on route to refuel, maybe for an hour or so, or sometimes half a day, and some people pay extra to just to avoid them. But what if the stopover was a city you've been dying to visit and you want to see more than just the airport? Want to experience what Dubai has to offer but don't have the budget for more than two or three days? Stopovers are the perfect opportunity for a taster holiday and a great way to break up the long haul flights.

Dubai is the fastest-growing transit hub in the world and has one of the most impressive airports. The airport is only 3 miles from the city centre making it super accessible on a stopover. So why not make it a memorable addition to your trip? There's so much to see and do it's recommended you stay AT LEAST 3 nights or you'll be very disappointed. The biggest dilemma facing visitors is choosing what to do! Stay in luxurious hotels, pamper yourself in magnificent spas, enthral your senses through a world of adventure as you wander through historic souks or eat in some of the world's greatest restaurants.

The Textile Market is a must, where you'll see textiles coloured by traditional dyes using well-practised techniques and producing luxurious results. A Spice Soux Tour will open your eyes to the scents and sights of the culinary Middle East with spices prepared according to ancient traditions. And after a morning wandering around bustling markets, there is nothing better then enjoying a hammam  experience where the steam will cleanse your skin and you can wash and scrub away your worries.  Perhaps book yourself in for a massage if you're feeling indulgent. Or for something a bit more thrilling for the whole family, try one of the Dubai's many adventure parks - Aquaventure Park anyone? There are also many events held throughout the year such as the international Dubai Motor Festival.

With so many world class activities and experiences on offer, Dubai is the perfect destination for a holiday within a holiday. Talk to our team today to find your great Dubai stopover deal.
