The vibrant capital London is often the first stop on many people’s holidays to England, and with good reason; it blends history with culture in a way that is truly exciting. On a London tour, spend days exploring its museums and galleries, riding the Eye or watching the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, before enjoying the amazing restaurants, traditional pubs and nightlife once the sun goes down. But there’s much more to this compact country.

Literature fans will want to explore the world of Shakespeare at Stratford-upon-Avon, while aficionados of history should head north to York.
